New Fislerville Glass Works
The New Fislerville Glass Works is New Jersey's newest Glassblowing Hot Shop dedicated to glassblowing classes and glassblowing rentals. Clayton was called Fislerville before 1864. Jeff Vanaman started the New Fislerville works a number of years ago. The shop has a 350 pound capacity furnace and is located at 792 W. Clayton Avenue, Clayton, NJ 08312. Iron forming tool. A glob of glass is used to heat this former. Often times that glass can be manipulated to make a turtle whimsy. All you have to do is pull the 4 legs and the neck is formed as the glass flows out of the form.
