I've always been fascinated by early American medicine bottles, the older, cruder and rarer, the better. I began collecting antique bottles in 1972 but did not acquire my first colored pontil example until 1991. That bottle was a beautiful Kimball's Jaundice Bitters, Troy, NH and I purchased it from the Rose Sale auction that was held by Harmer Rooke Galleries on 57th Street in New York City.

These examples were purchased from Bill Geisz many years ago. The Hyatt's was dug on Eagles Street in Newark, NJ by Charles Dascenzo in the late 70s.
